FUNDRAISING TO UPGRADE PROGRAM EQUIPMENT & SUPPORT FOR SENIOR ACTIVITIES!
The Friends of Lebanon Recreation, Arts, and Parks works closely with both Lebanon and West Lebanon communities. Our focus is to enhance both communities based on everyday feedback and conversations with members of each community.
Lebanon Recreation currently needs the following equipment for various programs to replace aging frequently repaired equipment:
New Snowblower for Pat Walsh Ice Rinks to clear ice: $5000
Skate Sharpener Machine to sharpen free skates at Pat Walsh Rinks: $2000
2 New Kayaks for Summer Camp Program: $2000
2 New Three Season Tents for Camp Program: $600
Seniors & "Less Abled" Participation: Frequently Seniors and "less abled" individuals want to participate in programs that encourage their contribution to gas, entrance fees or require spending money for lunch at a restaurant. Due to limited income some are reluctant to participate. Travel/Entrance/Lunch Stipends would help to encourage their participation: $1000
